I want to update my registered email address in my Hobonichi ID account.

Please follow the procedures below:

１．Click or tap “Change your email address” on your account page.
２．Enter the email address that you wish to update to and click / tap
“Continue”.
３．An email with verification code will be sent to the email address you
entered, whose title is “[Hobonichi] Verification Code”.
４．Enter the 6-digit verification code from the email into the box on the
page and click / tap “Continue” to complete the change procedure.

If you have forgotten which method you chose to log in with at registration please refer to this page.

※Please note that if you currently use both your Google account or Apple ID, in addition to an email address and password for login, updating your registered email address involves creating a new Hobonichi ID account with the desired email. This new account will be linked to your existing one, preserving all previous information. However, it’s important to understand that you will no longer be able to access the new account using your Google account or Apple ID credentials.

Please follow the instructions below to create a new Hobonichi ID account and link it to the existing account:

１．Click here
２．Create the new Hobonichi ID by clicking on the link “Registration” at the
bottom.
３．Click “Link your account” on the Hobonichi ID account page after
completing the registration process.
４．Click on the “Log in with your Hobonichi ID” beneath “Merge your
Hobonichi ID” at the bottom of the “Link your accounts.“ page.
５．Enter the email address and password of your old Hobonichi ID account.
