Starting Saturday, August 1, 2026 (JST), we will be making several changes to our distribution center, as well as to the shipping company and payment methods for orders delivered within Japan. The details are as follows.

■Change of Distribution Center to “SBS Logicom Co., Ltd.”
Beginning with orders shipped on Saturday, August 1, 2026 (JST), our distribution center will change to “SBS Logicom Co., Ltd.” This change will allow us to deliver more products to more customers as quickly as possible.

■Change of Shipping Company to Yamato Transport (Orders Delivered within Japan)
Along with the change to our distribution center, the shipping carrier for orders delivered within Japan will change from “Sagawa Express” to “Yamato Transport.” As a result, the following changes will also take effect.

• Our mailbox delivery service will change from “Hikyaku Yu-Packet” to “Nekopos,” provided by Yamato Transport.

• The available delivery time slots will be as follows:

  ・Before noon
  ・2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  ・4:00 PM – 6:00 PM 
  ・6:00 PM – 8:00 PM 
  ・7:00 PM – 9:00 PM 

■Discontinuation of Printed Receipts for Orders Shipped on or after August 1, 2026 (JST)
Beginning with orders shipped on Saturday, August 1, 2026 (JST), we will no longer issue a printed receipt with your order. You can check your order details under ”Recent orders” on your Hobonichi Online Store account page or in the Order Confirmation email you receive after placing your order.

■Change from "Pay Later via Cash Transfer" to "Convenience Store Prepayment (PAYSLE)"
For orders delivered within Japan, we will discontinue our pay-later service, "Pay Later via Cash Transfer," and introduce a new payment method, “Convenience Store Prepayment (PAYSLE).”

With “Convenience Store Prepayment (PAYSLE),” you will receive an email containing an electronic barcode after placing your order. You can complete your payment by displaying the barcode on your smartphone at a participating convenience store. We will begin preparing your order for shipment after your payment has been confirmed.
As a result, the available payment methods during the transition period will change as follows.

• From 5:00 PM (JST), Friday, July 31 to 10:59 AM (JST), Monday, August 
  For orders delivered within Japan, the available payment methods will be limited to “Credit Card,” “Cash on Delivery,” and “Amazon Pay.”
• From 11:00 AM (JST), Monday, August 3 
  “Convenience Store Prepayment (PAYSLE)” will become available.

■Cancellation of Orders Returned to the Distribution Center
If an order is returned to the distribution center on or after Friday, July 24, 2026 (JST) because it could not be delivered due to an extended absence, an incorrect shipping address, or other customer-related circumstances, we will be unable to reship the order. Orders returned to the distribution center will be cancelled. When placing your order, please make sure that your shipping address is correct and that you will be able to receive your package.
