In the Hobonichi Techo app, location information is used to record the day's weather and for your Senpai to talk to you about the weather. By registering your area of residence, you can record the weather for that area even if location information cannot be acquired for some reason (*).

How to register or change your area of residence
Tap menu at the bottom right of the app.
Tap the map displayed in the "area of residence" field or "not set" to open the settings screen.
Set your area of residence on the map and tap "Confirm" to complete the setting.
* The pin does not need to be placed in an exact location; an approximate area is sufficient.
* If you wish to delete your area of residence, please tap "do not set".
