In the Hobonichi Techo app, location information is used to record the day's weather and for your Senpai to talk to you about the weather. By registering your area of residence, you can record the weather for that area even if location information cannot be acquired for some reason (*).

How to register or change your area of residence
Tap menu at the bottom right of the app.
Tap the area name displayed in the "area of residence" field or "not set" to open the settings screen.
Select your prefecture from the pulldown menu and tap OK to complete the setting.
* If you wish to delete your area of residence, please select "do not set" from the pulldown menu.
* If you do not live in Japan, please select "other".
