The Hobonichi Techo App requires you to log in with a registered "Hobonichi ID". If you wish to change the email address registered to your "Hobonichi ID", please follow the steps below.
*If you registered using a social account (Apple ID or Google Account), you cannot change the email address yourself. If you wish to do so, please contact us.
Steps to change your email address
Tap "Menu" at the bottom right of the app screen.
Tap "Settings & Payment Information".
Tap the "Change Hobonichi ID Settings" button located in the email address field at the top.
The "Hobonichi ID" login screen will open in a web browser.
Log in with your registered "Hobonichi ID" to open your Hobonichi ID account page.
Tap "Change Email Address".
Enter the new email address you want to register and tap "Next".

You will receive an email with the subject "[Hobonichi] Verification Code" at the email address you entered. Copy or note down the 6-digit verification code provided in the email.
*If you do not receive the email after waiting a few minutes, please refer to this Help page.

Return to the screen from step 7 (Web browser) and enter the verification code.
*Please note that the screen from step 6 is open in a web browser (not the Hobonichi Techo App).
Tap "Next" to complete the change procedure.
*The email address displayed in "Settings & Payment Information" in the app may not update immediately.
