Currently, the Hobonichi Techo App does not offer a native feature to set a passcode lock within the app. However, iPhone users (iOS 18 or later) can lock the app using their device settings.
Note for Android users: Currently, there is no method to set a passcode lock via device settings on Android. We are preparing a feature that will allow you to set a passcode lock within the app, so please wait for a future update.
Steps to set a passcode lock for the app on iOS
Go to the iPhone Home Screen.
Touch and hold the Hobonichi Techo App icon to open the quick action menu.
Tap Require Face ID, Require Touch ID, or Require Passcode.
In the confirmation dialog that appears, tap Require Face ID, Require Touch ID, or Require Passcode again.
Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
The setup is now complete.
From the next time you open the app, you will need to authenticate with the set Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode to access it.
Note: If you wish to disable the passcode lock, you can do so by following the same steps above.
