By linking with your device's photos, the Hobonichi Techo App can automatically record photos and videos taken on your smartphone to your timeline. Please see below for details on when photos/videos are synced.

■ Timing of syncing photos/videos to the app
Sync Timing
Photos/videos are synced and displayed in the app at the following two times:
When opening the Hobonichi Techo App (Including when returning to the foreground from the background)
Every 10 minutes while the app remains open
What is synced
Photos/videos saved in your photo library (Gallery) with dates falling between the last sync time and the current sync time.
■ About photos/videos added to the device later
If photo/video data is saved to your device's photo library (Gallery) from an external source (as in the examples below), and the date of that data falls outside the sync range, it will not be automatically synced to the app.
When importing photo/video data from external devices such as cameras
When receiving and saving photo/video data via AirDrop, etc.
When downloading photo/video data from websites or external services
e.g.) If you open the app and sync photos/videos on October 15, 2025, and then import photo data dated October 14, 2025 to your device, that photo data will not be automatically synced to the app.
You can manually post photo data using the "+" button at the bottom of the app screen (please refer to this Help page for detailed steps).
