Both are distributed as postcard-sized instruction sheets, and you can apply the ticket using the QR code printed on the sheet. If the ticket cannot be applied, please check the relevant items below.

If it says: This serial code has already been applied.
Open the Memory Print screen in the Hobonichi Techo App and check if the ticket has already been applied.
Tap Menu at the bottom right of the app screen.
Tap Memory Print.
If "5 uses" have been added to the Available uses field, it has already been applied.
If it says: Please check if it matches the serial code on the paper.
There seems to be an error in the serial code used. Please check if it matches the serial code on the ticket instruction sheet exactly and ensure there are no spaces.
Alternatively, please scan the QR code on the instruction sheet again to try applying it (the serial code will be automatically reflected when applied via QR code).
If the issue is still not resolved, we will investigate. Please contact us with the serial code from your ticket.

The process may have been interrupted due to the network environment or other reasons. Please check your internet connection and scan the QR code on the instruction sheet again to try applying it.
If the error persists after several attempts, please contact us with the following information:
The email address registered to your Hobonichi ID
Which screen you were on and what operation resulted in the error
Your device OS and browser version (if known)
Ticket application succeeded but is not reflected in the app
If the screen saying "Trial Ticket applied!" is displayed, the application was successful. Please open the Memory Print screen in the Hobonichi Techo App using the following steps to check if 5 uses have been added.
Tap Menu at the bottom right of the app screen.
Tap Memory Print.
If "5 uses" have been added to the Available uses field, it has already been applied.
If it has not been applied, please check the following:
Restart the app and check again.
Check if you are logged into the Hobonichi Techo App with the same Hobonichi ID used to apply the ticket.
If the issue is still not resolved, we will investigate. Please contact us with the serial code from your ticket.
