Omake are little round rewards that pop up while you use the Hobonichi Techo App. Collect them to exchange for various fun items and features!
How to collect Omake
You can earn Omake in the following situations:
- Launch the app once a day (5 Omake)
- Clip a memory of the day to your Cover (10 Omake)
- Write a "Today's Reflection" (5 Omake)
- Write a "Monthly Reflection" (5 Omake)
- Special events such as birthdays (? Omake)
*You can write your "Today’s Reflection" in the "How was your day?" section below the timeline cover.
*You can write your "Monthly Reflection" by tapping the pencil icon in the bottom right of the slideshow when in monthly view.
How to check your Omake
You can check your current Omake count in the following locations:

Current Balance
Your current Omake total is always displayed at the top right of the app screen. -
Earning & Spending History
You can check your history by following these steps:1. Tap the "Omake" menu at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the clock icon in the top right corner to open the "Omake History" screen.
*Use the filter icon in the top right to narrow down your view to "Earning History" or "Spending History."
How to use Omake
Accumulated Omake can be used for various fun rewards.
Tap the "Omake" menu at the bottom of the screen to open the Exchange Center. You can browse the available options and tap your favorite to enjoy it.

Stickers for your Cover
These are stickers used to decorate your daily cover. Even on days without a photo, you can create a beautiful cover by choosing a design that matches your mood. You can exchange 100 Omake for one sticker of your choice. Once exchanged, the sticker is added to your "Sticker Collection" and can be used as many times as you like.

As of February 2026, "Stickers" became available as the first set of items for exchange. Please stay tuned as we continue to add more fun rewards in the future!
