Printing Memories (Memory Print) | User Guide 8 – Hobonichi Help Center

"Memory Print" is a feature that allows you to select and print photos and other memories from the "Today's Cover" you have clipped in the Hobonichi Techo App. You can print them in a size that fits perfectly in your paper "Hobonichi Techo," so please enjoy pasting them into your techo.

*Memory Print is available only to those subscribed to the Premium Plan. Data creation with the Premium Plan is unlimited.
*Those who have applied a Trial Ticket can also use it for the number of times acquired.
*The app creates data for printing. Please print it using your preferred method, such as your home printer or at a convenience store.

[Instructions] For those wanting to paste into the "Hobonichi Techo"

Open the "Memory Print" screen using one of the following methods:
- Tap the "Menu" icon at the bottom right of the app screen and tap "Memory Print."
- Tap the printer icon at the top right of the slideshow area in "Month View."
Select "For those wanting to paste into Hobonichi Techo."
Select your Hobonichi Techo size from "A6," "A5," or "weeks."
Select one of the 4 data sizes to print and tap "Next."
*When you select one, a preview image of what it looks like pasted into your size of Hobonichi Techo will be displayed at the top.
Select the paper size from "L size" or "2L size" using the pulldown menu at the top left, then select the data you want to print from the "Covers" list at the bottom. Once selected, tap "Next."

Tap "∧" below the print preview to expand the list.
The number of images displayed per sheet depends on the selected data size and paper size.
If you want to print on a paper size other than L or 2L (such as A4), please output as "PDF" in the final output settings and print on your desired paper size.

<To adjust the print area of a photo>
Tapping the photo data in the print preview opens the print area editing screen. Adjust to your desired print area by zooming in/out or rotating. Tap "Done" to apply.

Select from two output methods.
- Output as PDF: Outputs a PDF file.
- Output as Image: Outputs a JPG file.
*A feature to transfer data directly to convenience stores is currently in preparation.
A preview of the output content will be displayed. Check it and tap "Output."
*Checking "Use these settings next time" will start the next session with the currently selected data size and paper size.
The printing data will be created. Tap "Save" or "Send" to save the data.
Use the saved data to print via your preferred method, such as a home printer or convenience store.

[Printing Method] Printing on paper sizes other than the created data size

There are two types of data sizes you can create: "L size" and "2L size." If you wish to print on a paper size other than the created data size, for example, A4 paper, please check the following:

Select "PDF" as the output method to create data, and print on your preferred paper size.
In your print settings, please ensure to print at "Actual Size (100% scale)."

*If you set it to "Fit to Page" or a scale other than 100%, the data will be enlarged or reduced.
(The display content in print settings varies depending on your PC or printer.)

[Printing Method] Printing at a convenience store (Japan only)

The method for printing created data at a convenience store in Japan varies by convenience store and print service. Here, we will guide you through the main network print methods. (Information as of October 2025, Japan.)

Install a dedicated convenience store printing app or access the dedicated webpage.
- If you want to print quickly and easily, we recommend services that do not require member registration.
- Printing on sticker paper is not supported at 7-Eleven (as of October 2025, Japan).

Follow the instructions of each service to print the data created in the Hobonichi Techo App at a convenience store.

※Note※

Please be careful with the print settings so that the image is not scaled (enlarged or reduced) to fit the paper size.
When printing on photo/sticker paper, please select paper of the same size as the created data size. (For example, if you created "L size" data, please select "L size" paper at the convenience store to print.)
