It may take a few minutes for the verification code email to arrive. Please note that only the most recent code is valid.
If you are receiving multiple verification code emails and they become invalid before use, one of the following situations may apply:
1. You clicked “Resend Verification Code” multiple times
If you press the “Resend Verification Code” button more than once, all previously issued codes will become invalid. Only the most recent code will work. Please wait a few minutes and check your inbox for the latest verification email.
2. You are accessing the setup page through a link in the email
If you open the Hobonichi ID setup page using a link from an email, it may open inside your email app’s built-in browser.
If you then close that in-app browser to check the verification code email, the setup page may also close.
When you reopen the page, you may need to log in again, causing a new code to be sent and invalidating the previous one. To avoid this issue, please do not access the Hobonichi ID setup page directly from the link in your email. Instead, open a browser on your device (such as Safari or Google Chrome) and go directly to the following page: https://www.1101.com/note/open
By accessing the page through a browser separate from your email app, you’ll be able to check the verification code email without closing the setup screen.
