The Hobonichi Planner has a sleek, stylish design for its book cover, so it’s great to use even without an optional cover. The other covers have a great pen clasp to keep it shut, but you can make one yourself for the planner book! Simply tape a few layers of washi tape together to strengthen it, then fold it over into a loop and tape it to the inside of the book cover. One loop goes on the front cover, and one loop goes on the back cover a little further down. And that’s it! Sometimes washi tape isn’t as strong as regular tape, so if so, just secure the loop to the inner cover with an extra layer of clear tape. You can also have fun picking out different washi tape designs!
